This cottage was originally part of a massive open hangar used for storing hay and more recently, tractors etc. The hangar was split into two, two thirds now being the peche cottage and the other third being fleurie. Two beautiful stone pillars held up the roof at the front, and these are still showing. The cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, a double and a twin on the first floor with the small bathroom which has bath with shower facility, basin and toilet. There is an open tread, cast iron, spiral staircase. Downstairs is open plan with kitchenette, living and dining areas. The kitchenette is equipped with 4 ring gas hob, mini work top electric oven / grill, microwave, fridge freezer and all basic crockery and cutlery. There is a large patio window to the front opening onto the terrace with charcoal barbecue. It is opposite the swimming pool. There is a small area of grass to the rear accessed around the side of the cottage - you may want to take your garden table and chairs around the back to watch the sunset in the evening over the open fields. This is the sunniest cottage, as it has windows on 3 sides. |
