We live at La Grange du Moulin. We clean all the cottages ourselves and check that
everything is in working order before you arrive. We maintain all the grounds and
swimming pool on a daily basis and can be called on at anytime if something goes wrong.
We greet you on your arrival and show you around the property. We are there to help you
and advise you on the best places to visit and chat, if you want us to, however we are
definately not obtrusive .
Where are the nearest shops, bars and restaurants ?
St Jean d'Angely, 6 miles or 10 mins drive. We really are in the countryside. The hamlet
has no facilities and there are no bars or restaurants in walking distance. All major
facilities, several big supermarkets and a good selection of restaurants are within an easy
short drive, but our property attracts young families who are after a peaceful, family
orientated holiday. We offer a babysitting service so you can take advantage of a night out
without the children, but many evenings will be spent chatting to fellow guests over the
bbq or simply watching the sun go down and the stars come out with a glass of wine
overlooking the open fields of wheat.
Are there clothes washing facilities ?
Yes, we have a communal laundry room which has two washing machines and a tumble dryer, all of which
are free to use. You will need to purchase your own washing powder. There is a drying rack in each cottage
and a rotary dryer in the garden. The laundry room also contains our mini library, mops and buckets, extra
pots and pans, bicycle repair kits, bats and balls and a deep freeze for those cottages which only have a small
freezer compartment.
Is there a hairdryer, iron etc....?
All the cottages have an iron and board and small hairdryer.
