| It is the first time we have rented a gite and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We liked the simplicity of the home here and the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. The bonus was the super atmosphere and hospitality of our hosts (and the introduction to the local pineau !) Chris and Wendy, thank you for helping to make this a super holiday. | Only 4 clear days, but it was everything we hoped for: quiet, wonderful bird life and woods, privacy but friendly passing neighbours. The cottage is beautifully equipped, although we havn't done much cooking. There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive, all enjoyable. Next time we shall be staying longer. | Certainly in the top 1% of our holidays. The cottage and all the facilities were as advertised and more.St Jean is an ideal place to use as a base to visit the many towns of intrest in the area. The wine walk was informative and interesting and the pineau excellent. The bbq went so well, a great way for people to mix and all the food was excellent. We cannot fault the cottage at all. | A superbly relaxing 2 weeks, loved the cottage and its location. plenty to see and do to keep both parents and children happy.
