| Comments on our gites 2007 |
| We have stayed in many gites over the past 9 years (some English owned, some French) and in our opinion, this is by far the best - from cleanliness to the quality of information provided and including attention to detail and your helpfulness. You have obviously found a niche in the market with regard to the 'child friendly' approach and you fulfill it very well with the available facilities (high chair, changing mats, toys etc) All exceeding our expectations. Thank you. The Teddy Bears Picnic and communal bbq are a lovely idea and an opportunity to mix with other guests yet there is no pressure to do so if you don't want to. All in all, a great place to stay which I find difficult to fault. If I achieve my dream of running a gite business, I'll be stealing a few ideas !! | We've had a fabulous time again. Sometimes it can be worrying going back to the same place again in case you remember it better than it actually is, but coming back for the second year in a row, everything is even better than we remembered. Christopher has loved playing in the garden and sandpit and spending time with Benjamin and Thomas and we've loved the chance to have a relaxing holiday. Weather wasn't what we'd hoped for (although we won't hold that against you !) but we've found plenty to do - some old favourites like the boats on Sundays and some new discoveries too. | We've had a great stay and the hospitality is great. Wendy is kind and helped us out by arranging a Dr when our son fell ill. The set up here is great for families with little ones and is very child friendly. The children are more than happy just to play outside. Thanks for a great (but sleepless ill child) week. We've really enjoyed ourselves and will certainly bear this place in mind for future holiday and will certainly recommend it to our friends and families with children. | We wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying with you last week. It has been one of our most relaxing holidays in a long time and the effort you made to make us feel at home and the child friendliness of the cottage really contributed. We will be telling all our friends. NARENDRAN FAMILY (Arjun 4yrs, Alisha 3yrs) JUNE 2007 PECHE |
| We found the accomodation to be spacious and homely, the ambience calm and peaceful. Solomon thoroughly enjoyed playing in the garden which was a haven for toddlers. He particularly liked having other children of a similar age to play with. For parents it was great to be able to watch over them in the knowledge they were safe. Chris and Wendy go that extra mile to ensure everything is catered for and we fely a peace of mind having them just around the corner, yet without any intrusion on our privacy. We were unlucky with the weather and had more than our fair share of rain in the second week. Had it been a little drier we would of been able to explore more of this beautiful part of France. I guess we'll just have to come back and visit again soon ! PAT, PAULA ans SOLOMON (aged 2yrs) RUCHE |
| We feel like we have found a perfect little holiday spot at La Grange du Moulin. The beautiful grounds are a lovely base, the village setting - in the middle of nowhere, gives an instant feeling of relaxation and the hospitality of the hosts was second to none. We feel we've been made a part of the local community for a couple of weeks ! Our little ones are only little but there was still plenty to amuse them: playing in the garden, wandering down the lane to look at the tractors or splashing in the pool. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine at the back before moving around to the front to socialise and perhaps lay a game of boules. Don't miss the communal bbq its a very special occasion. BIDDULPH and WESTERBY families (Daniel 14mths, William 20 mths) PECHE |
| The cottages are great for a family holiday. The kids have made lots of friends. The garden layout meant the children can play and we can watch from the cottage without worrying - a really safe environment. With children of 5 & 2yrs old it must be a first to feel rested after a 2 wk holiday! CAREY FAMILY Aug'07 PAPILLON |
| This holiday was brilliant, the girls loved it as they could run about without us constantly watching over them, they made loads of friends and we could relax knowing they were safe. The 2 pools and playground were fantastic although due to mixed weather we couldn't enjoy them as much as we would of liked, despite the weather we will definately be back. We have stayed in similar self catering holiday homes in various places, but none as good as this. The gite was lovely, really spacious & light & had everything you need. Chris & Wendy are brilliant and organise loads of things to do including a weekly communal bbq which is really great for meeting the other families staying here. The area is lovely and there are plenty of things to do. Chris' wine tasting evening was very interesting and a must for any wine lover. PURVIS FAMILY August 2007 FLEURIE, children 5 & 4 yrs |
| Well we have been here 3 times in 4 yrs which I think speaks volumes. Chris, Wendy, Benjamin and Thomas are very welcoming to everyone here and do their utmost to make sure everyone is happy and contented. Wine tastings are a must for everyone as Chris really knows his stuff. So thanks again for another very special holiday - they get better each time. | The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped. Outside seating areas meant we ate outside for the majority of the time. Pool area clean and safe. Play area ideal for all ages. Chris and Wendy extremely helpful and always around if needed. This has been our most relaxed holiday. The area is lovely, but the facilities at the cottage and the friendly atmosphere has meant that we havn't needed to go out each day to have a good time.
