|Reviews of La Grange du
''Another fantastic holiday here - fourth visit but still so much to see and do. Our nearly 4 yr old loved the Teddy bears picnic,
pottery painting and playing with all her new friends in the fantastic safe garden. The new trampoline was a big hit.
If you want a holiday where you can relax in the knowledge that your children are safe, happy and having fun then look no
further. Thanks again to Chris, Wendy, Benjamin and Thomas for helping to make such a lovely holiday. See you next August

''This was our first proper child friendly holiday and I think it has set a very high benchmark ! We all loved La Grange du
Moulin. The facilities are superb and Wendy, Chris and the boys have created a real home from home atmosphere where we
felt totally relaxed. Our daughter (21mths) woke up excited every morning, wanting to play, swim and 'see Wendy' ! We
enjoyed kicking back for a week and watching our little one grow. Although we didn't see a huge amount of the area - largely
due to the faciilties at La Grange du Moulin being so good- what we did see was beautiful; markets, parks, beaches and just
the general ambience of rural France. I know we still have loads to see which will make our future holidays here even more
enjoyable ! Chris and Wendy were excellent hosts - attentive but unobtrusive, friendly and approachable. Chris' knowledge of
wine and obvious passion for the subject made our holiday drinking seem almost justifiable ! I think that Chris, Wendy and
the boys have their very own special ''terroir'' Many Thanks''.

Our first proper family holiday with our 10mth old. We stayed for 2wks had fantastic weather and plenty to do. The gite as equipped brilliantly for everyone
and Chris and Wendy were wonderful hosts - nothing was too much to ask, making the holiday very relaxed and enjoyable. We enjoyed trips to Cognac.
Saintes and St Savinien as well as La Rochelle aquarium (twice !) which was fantastic. We also spent a good amount of time just staying around La Grange
du Moulin, enjoying the pool and play areas and getting to know other families. The bbqs were a real highlight. Thanks Chris and Wendy for a wonderful
time - we will be back ! Hamilton family, June 2010 Peche gite
The best thing about La Grange du Moulin is the relaxed atmosphere which we all instantly settle into. The kids (aged 7 and 5) are happy playing with
other children in the garden which allows us to kick back and relax. Chris Wendy and the boys are perfec hosts. Very knowledgable about everything and
cannot do enough to help. This is why we've been back 4 times !

First time abroad wth our son (2yrs), he loved playing in the garden with all the toys, especially the trampoline. He was not a very confident swimmer until
coming here and being able to stand up in the heated pool was good. We could just sit back and relax and know he as safe in the garden. Met some lovely
people and got to do a bit of socialising which we tend to miss out on at home.

Brilliant for our daughter, nearly 4 and totally stress free for adults, (with 9mth old baby too) able to just let her go out and play without the need for
constant supervision. Everyone looked after everyones children, great environment for them just to run around. Great because its child friendly ut not at
expense of adults getting bored !!

Boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves which in turn led to a perfect time for us. Best things were the friends we've made and the memories we shall take home
with us. We like the simplicity, coolness and facilities in the cottage. The area was secluded, yet within easy reach of supermarkets etc. Our boys 5 and 3.5
had a ball. They couldn't wait to get out after breakfast every day to play with everyone. Best holiday we've had as a family and heartily recommended.

So relaxing - a wonderful find. If you have only ever done 'the package holiday and kids club' then this is heaven. A safe, fun, small place with lots of other
children for your little ones to play with (and with an only child this is much needed)Well done Wendy and Chris, Benajmin and Thomas we will be back (if we
can get in !)

potty. The property is well laid out and secure. Hours of fun had in the sandpit, on the swings and in the pools. Location wise we found it central, easily accessible
for coast and inland attractions. We were here for 1wk but could of easily found plenty to do for 2wks. Wendy and Chris, congratulations on running such a lovely
holiday business and making what is undoubtedly very hard work look easy. Though your years of experience you have learned exactly what parents of under 5's
want (and need) and deliver it 100%. Thanks for a lovely holiday !

This holiday was unique as it was specifically aimed at families with young children and more than full filled our expectations. The best things were : the warm the
The hardest part was dragging our daughter away from the gites with its idyllic play area, fab toys and lovely warm toddlers pool. Bbq and teddy bears picnic were
wonderful too. We honestly can't think of a thing that was missing. The gite was fully equipped even with toys, magazines and dvd player, plenty to do on a rainy
day, not that there were many ! We watched the video on the web site many times with our aughter before coming. She was so excited about the holiday that we
downplayed it a little in case she was disappointed, after all we were the first guests f the season and we thought it would be a few days before other children
arrived. However she was not disappointed as Benjamin and Thomas were often there to play with and they're such lovely gentle boys. She said the holiday was
even better than the video. Thank you for a super holiday !

A great holiday - the first in a long while that we have been able to leave the children to go off and play and relax ! There are brilliant facilities for young children,
everything you need to keep them entertained (and safe) for hours. The hosts (Chris and Wendy) are really friendly and helpful and maintain the perfect
balance between suggesting activities and letting you get on with it ! There are lots of child friendly excursions in the local area - we really enjoyed the boats at st
savinien and the beaches, but its just as pleasant to stay on site and enjoy the pools and facilities.

Excellent proximity of pool, play area and toys. Great not to worry about where children are and safety. Lovely views from cottage, which had all we needed. Both
our 5 and 2yr old enjoyed it. Our 5yr old said it was the ''best holiday ever'' because he could go out and play with other children and didn't have to walk far to
the pool. The area has plenty to do and visit, we only wished we'd stayed for 2wks !

It is great to be able to let my 3.5yr old run around the communal garden with all the other children whilst I sit back an read my book ! Wendy and Chris provided
cot, change mat, bath mat, steriliser, baby chair, high chair, toys, videos - we really only needed to bring ourselves, clothes and swimming things ! Only other
parents could think of and provide all this preparation to help make your holiday relaxing. Thank you again and see you next year !
