Gites near St Jean d'Angely
It was totally relaxed - guests just chatted and the children played together. The cottage
had everything we needed for two young children. The area is quiet and away from
bustling traffic but close to big towns and cities if you want to visit them. The bbq was
great, a real ice breaker and very sociable although most people felt it the next day !!
Its the first time we've stayed somewhere like this. Everyone (fellow guests and hosts)
have been really friendly - its nice to be able to socialise - especially after the kids
bedtime ! The toys and other childs equipent is great too - Matthew has barely touched
the few toys we brought with us. The open fields around the property make a nice
change from where we live at home - a county base without being a million miles from
facilities and places of interest. The group bbq and teddy bears picnic were fun too.
The gite was simple but well kitted out so we had everything we needed. Lovely, quiet
location - really nice to be away from it all. Had everything the boys wanted/needed
without being miles from anywhere. It was so refreshing to have such amicable helpful &
knowledgable hosts. Wendy & Chris made us feel nothing was too much trouble & we
really felt they wanted to make our holiday the best it could be - thank you all (and a
special thank you to Benamin and Thomas for sharing their toys)
A spacious gite, clean and well equipped. Plenty of activities for the children - ours
especially like the small pool. A warm welcome and generous hospitality by our hosts.
The setting has been perfect for our family. The children had a fantastic time, able to play
safely (no traffic) and adults could relax and enjoy the wonderful views ad peaceful
surroundings.
Very easy with small children - Chris and Wendy have thought of everything and were
really helpful. Emily loved the teddy bears picnic. We all loved the pool and the area is
really pretty with loads to see. Charlie particularly appreciated the box of toys !
We had a great holiday at the Horloge gite. The gite had everything we needed and more,
from the toys, the bath mat and the plastic bowls etc. The kids loved playing outside with
your other guests so made for a great holiday.
Its just great for the children, they played together for hours in a nice safe environment while we sat and
watched. Our daughter (2yrs) loved every minute of it, especially the bbq and teddy bears picnic. Very
peaceful location - very safe, not worried about security at all.
Peace and quiet ! The area is lovely and the photos of the cottage and gardens do not do it justice. The relaxed
atmosphere is genuine and with a nice bunch of other guests, very sociable. We hardly talk to our own
neighbours at home, but we were all on first name terms here !
This was without doubt the most restful holiday we have had since we had children. The children have also
enjoyed it more - less tantrums and tears because they have been entertained. The information you have
provided about days out let us avoid boring the children (and ourselves) and made planning our holiday simple.
You have indeed provided 'a holiday' from all aspects of our life and sharing it with new friends has been
lovely.
